Privacy policy

Pre-production draft. This page describes the data contract implemented in this repository. The final publication date, legal entity, and retention schedule must be confirmed before the production hostname is enabled.

TinyCommander on your Mac

TinyCommander is a file-management utility. It requests access to folders and volumes so it can list and manage files that macOS allows it to access. Normal file operations happen on your Mac; the app does not need to upload the file contents to provide its core functionality.

Feedback

If you use the in-app feedback feature, the service receives the selected category, message, a client-generated retry ID, a pseudonymous installation identifier, and an optional contact email. App and OS versions are accepted only when the app explicitly sends diagnostic consent with those fields. Attachments and automatic diagnostic logs are not part of the current contract.

The service assigns the app identity from the request hostname. It does not trust an app name supplied by the client. Feedback is stored in a private database and is protected by short-lived, single-use submission tokens, request-size limits, and per-installation quotas.

Website data

The current pages do not use advertising cookies, account registration, or third-party analytics. The server may receive ordinary request metadata needed for Cloudflare delivery and abuse prevention. API responses are marked no-store.
